How do they use the money raised?

Money raised goes to everything from drug research to patient support. Here are somethings that have been directly funded by L&L Society:

~$600 trains 50 volunteers who can provide emotional support to newly diagnosed patients
~$1000 provides two patients with Financial Aid to support their treatment and travel to medical appointments for one year
~$7000 funds a program to educate 200 doctors on emerging treatments for a specific blood cancer.
